Collection: Sejnane Pottery

Our Sejnane pottery pieces, handcrafted by the women of the eponymous village in Tunisia, embody an ancestral craftsmanship recognized by UNESCO's World Heritage. Each piece, raw and authentic, is made with locally sourced clay, natural pigments, and sun-drying. Manual shaping, shell smoothing, and the use of dried cow dung for firing are testament to artisanal techniques passed down from mother to daughter. Visible imperfections, such as cracks and fissures, are unique marks of these potters, illustrating their cultural heritage and the beauty of traditional craftsmanship.
